Curtis Vibrators have selected PRE Technologies to support the analysis for their innovative vibrational spiral elevator

PRE Technologies to support Curtis Vibrators in novel spiral elevator design

Starting November the 2nd, 2015, PRE Technologies and Curtis agreed on a collaboration on the FEA-based dynamic analysis of the newly designed spiral elevator. Modal and Harmonic analyses will be carried out with the objective of obtaining the expected mechanical response of the system as well as the expected vibrational modes and natural frequencies of the elevator under operational loads. The results of these analyses will inform the design as well as determine the need for further fatigue studies.

Curtis Vibrators is one of the country\'s leading suppliers of vibratory equipment. Over 35 years of dedication supplying custom built vibratory equipment to the materials handling sector. Curtis Vibrators design and manufacture a comprehensive range of vibratory equipment for the following industries; foundries, food production, rubber and plastics recycling, metal powders, fertiliser, animal feed, quarrying and aggregates.

PRE Technologies possess vast experience on stress analysis for equipment subjected to vibrational loads. Modal analysis, resonant frequencies and natural modes, harmonic analysis and fluid induced vibration to name a few.
